Wow, a month of February has moved through our office so quickly. With a few snow days, March just came in without we knew it. One of the best events I personally enjoyed in February was a presentation from two students who studied in Hong Kong last semester. Matt and Nit spent one semester at Hong Kong Baptist University. This was their first time leaving the US, and they experienced a huge amount of life lessons while they were in Hong Kong. While they studied in Hong Kong, massive demonstrations could be seen at the foot of their apartment. They shared their experiences and stories about the demonstrations with the guests at the presentation. The stories were beyond what we saw through the traditional media outlets. I encourage that you should try to explore your horizons by visiting foreign places at least once before starting your career.

It has been 8 years and 9 months since I started to work at UAFS! Yes, I am going to be very excited about the 9th year. Our office is planning to welcome 50+ new international students for fall 2015. I want to thank all faculty, staff and volunteers who have been very supportive for the office.
