Burgers and Beer
Burgers and BEER on Campus? That may sound strange to you.
Beers will not be served at this event but Root beer will be served. Basically
Burgers and Beer event is an event on campus that brings awareness about alcohol
to the campus and Fort Smith community. During the events, they have games and
fun activities to do there that will promote understanding of the alcohol. They
have tables there where you can talk to the University Police and get to
experience what it is like to get handcuff and put into jail. You can even
speak to the nurses and learn how to detox alcohol, control your drinking or
prevent alcohol addiction. They have a fair game where you can try to get all
the bottles there and win prizes and also learn about alcohol with facts in the
bottles. These are not just the only events that they have, but many more. It
is extremely important that everyone is aware of the dangers of alcohol and
take precautions as they consume it. This event will give you a better
understanding of just that!

Scavenger Hunt!
The Office of International Relations is playing a game with
all of the UAFS students. We are hiding a stress ball/globe somewhere around
the campus. In order to get clues on where the stress ball/globe is hidden one
must like our UAFS Office of International Relations Facebook page and there,
there will be a riddle to help you find out where the stress ball/globe is. The person that finds it will then bring it to
the Office of International Relations and there they will receive a free I
Heart UAFS t-shirt. Everybody loves free t-shirts! This is a very fun game that
all students here on campus can participate in.

Haunted Union
Haunted Union is coming up really quickly and it is quite an
exciting event. The Haunted Union is an event on campus that the Campus
Activities Board always set up each year to celebrate Halloween. This event is
open to all students on campus and to the public to enjoy. They have fun games
to play in which you can earn goodies and win many other prizes. They also have
a scary maze that you go through and see some of the scariest things.
Therefore, if you are someone that are afraid of scary things, do not dare go
inside or else you will be very shock at what you see. Many organizations on
campus always participate in this event and many students have testify this
event as one of the most exciting and scariest event of the year. Go and attend

Homecoming
October 27, 2014- November 1, 2014 is Homecoming week here on campus. Several students look forward to this week because so many activities are offered for everyone. I have never been to Homecoming here, or ever participated in any of the activities. This year, I plan on attending some of the Homecoming activities and being more involved. There will be a Homecoming parade this year on Saturday, November 1st. I am looking forward to seeing the Homecoming parade and seeing all of the students dressed up and participating in all of the Homecoming activities. I believe that this will be a great experience for me, and also for international students who have never experienced things like this before. It will be fun!
